I remember you speaking of a Drillbur being good for your Team/there was interest to obtain one? Too bad Shiva doesn't know about this in-chara. :C All she'll probably notice would that Ven might enjoy how they gain Steel Type when evolving. On the other hand, she'd rather not catch them as they play a role in the plains/ecosystem itself plus I already wanted to gift Ven somethingelse as soon as you got Kingdra.

I'd suggest finding the Dribur that caused Sandstorm to auto trigger and faint both of them, then let Ventus know where they are so he can catch them himself. At the very least he'll have a couple of semi-rare Pokémon to trade with in that case, and he's using his Pokeballs, not yours!

Can be done from my side. Iron, would you allow this, is this mechanically possible?
