Thankfully, it didn't take that long for her and Ven to find the others back.

Shiva was still fine to travel via Metagross, still appreciating the pace and security this Steel Type provided. Nothing really caught her attention along the way though, except for the sensation that they probably where away from anything - people, towns, cities, healing machines; instead plains, wild flowers and the open view to the mountains and the sky. The sky... 'Away from cities'... Whenever Shiva was out watching the Unovian stars via Telescope, she did so after having walked a little less then one hour from their house in Castelia, accompanied an Ampharos (for safety) and occasionally Spectral. It was nothing new that the stars were easier to spot and constellations were easier to find when being away from the urban area and its lights. If it wasn't cloudy, that is. Chresire's stars were something unique according to Torch's writing.

It wasn't dark yet though, and just have a little more company and distraction - she'll let Ven beside her rest for now unless he speaks up first - she called out Yena, Cottonee and Kyuu! The latter two looked a little better than when Shiva was soft-forced to recall them, but they still were away from 'being fine' or 'battleready'. Those two were encouraged to simply rest close to to their Master.
Yena was all fine though, and...actually VERY curious about this steely thing they where traveling on. It looked so shiny and stable... before Shiva could say anything, he was already testing this material with his teeth. This was when Shiva felt like having to intercept. "Please stop that, Yena. You'll only leave scratches and biting remarks in this surface, and this surface is actually a Pokemon. It doesn't belong to us, it's just on loan." On the other hand, she wasn't even sure whether Metagross would mind? Eh, better not try it out and see that it DOES mind being pestered by the trademark-teeth of yet small Pokemon... It wasn't hard to tell for Yena that Yena was nevertheless curious and demanded attention from her Master. Well, this attention comes in the form of the Kong she bought at the Dept.Store (the one for 0$ for now), filled with a package of Gourmet Food. "Here, enjoy this instead." Shiva kept one handful of the flakes of the food - Kirlia wasn't nearby though, so she ended up sharing it with Espurr.
Wait a moment... Metagross are actually party Psychic Type, are they? Not weak ones, on top of that. "Kyuu... Do listen, once we finished eating, could you try to concentrate on the Pokemon we're actually traveling on? It's cold and steely, yes... But it has psychic powers below that metallic surface. Try to sense them - I feel they're different from your own, but around just as strong as yours."
"Same goes for you, Cottonee - however, you concentrate more on the 'Steel' part of it. Compare what you sense and learn about it with my highly emotional movepool and your own nature."
