You... you are...you are completely forgetting Shiva here, she obtained wild Pokemon without a battle way before it was cool... And none cares just because she isn't shouting it from the rooftops...

Technically Ventus was the first one to succeed on that front with Michael....sorta of (he had to fight it first, fail horribly at that, then beg it to come along). I was also speaking of recent events, so please don't feel slighted by my comment my dearest desire....
