Shiva is gathering a little more arrowroot when she hears a cry for help! It's coming from a black spruce fen, somewhat in the direction the group plans to travel. Judging by that cry, it's maybe a couple football fields away.

What a lucky day... Now that the haze has somewhat cleared (has it?), Shiva very carefully dared to leave the main path a little to search for more precious roots to dig up and later ponder about what to do with it. Hell, she'd bite herself hard if she'd end up regreting having done nothing. She had no idea whether she'd be some sort of help at all, but...

Doesn't matter, now that it's decided whether she liked it or not, she'd need to take quick actions. "Yena, you cling to the fabric of my cloak as tightly as possible. You, Sarah...
