Shiva actually flinched HARD at the sound of a Pokeball she threw in a hasty manner just at the time she thought was the best - it still hit the fainted Pineco, oh wonder - fearing for the worse. The few moments it was shaking were dripping with anxiety and aftermaths of a high adrenaline level. She was expecting the worse while her will was stronger than ever, but her mind didn't stop screaming at her.
Next, these few moments later, nothing. It seemed like even nature herself held her breath, all sounds where numbed and time has slowed for the second time this morning... Her mind calmed down, slowly, but it did until it the voice was silent. Was this a dream? Did she made it to heaven, free from every burden, nightmare and exploding Pokemon coming for her? Wondering about this, Shiva actually very coly DARED to take a look by lowering the arms she helf over her face.
There was nothing, either. No signs of damage, burn trees, other signs of an explosion hitting the nearby land, it all seemed normal... Carefully, the sounds of nature also came back. There where faint cries of Pokemon around... All that was different was that there was no Pineco more on the spruce tree and a blinking Pokeball that wasn't there before laying there a few steps in front of Shiva. Checking both her hands, they seemed normal, so this was likely not another lucid dream.
Then, something placed itself softly on her right shoulder, nuzzling her. It was cotton... Cottonee! She was here, too? She didn't look harmed at all, all that Shiva felt from her was a faint embarrased feeling asking for forgiveness since her Fairy Wind completely failed... Other than that, overly fine... Looking to her left, her magical fox stepped to her side as well. He looked incredibly proud over something and SMILED at his Master - of course this earned his strokes over his cheek and forehead. His fur was so warm and soft, and there where no injuries on him either... Did this mean...? Turning around, Tandal was there as well. He seemed delighted and overly relieved over something, his Yanma was hovering beside him - both unharmed as well. "Tandal... You're fine too, how delightful to see!"
All of this, all these odds could only mean one thing - she made it. Her voice was incredibly quiet and coy when the words came, but there was growing appreciation over it between the lines. "That means... We made it... We dismantled the threat of this Bug Type coming for us with the potential to explode just over our heads... Nature will thank us... I thank thee..."
Next, Shiva picked up that blinking Pokeball containing her new Pineco. She had absolutely no idea what to do with it, but that didn't matter just now... All that mattered that it was here, safely contained in one of her spare Pokeball... Right, she does remember this particular scratch on the red half, it IS one of the Pokeballs SHE bought earlier... Then, she simply started crying. She didn't even care to hold any tears back, all she did was bathing in this one moment where she realized that she made a difference without suffering injuries.
Please need XP granted for resolving this Encounter, @Iron, but it'll likely give at least 1XP, exactly what was missing to level up Strength to 3 points right here! Ohh, things have developed nicely.
