I would like to see how a weak Grass type attack affects this strange tree. Or, as I think about it, a Water Gun from Totodile should make the same distinction. But I worry about damaging this strange tree, as well, so I will happily listen to other plans."

"All I have in that regard at the moment is a Skiddo that knows Vine Whip, since Kirlia doesn't know Magical Leaf yet.  I was also thinking about potentially trying to dislodge some of that sap accumulating on that one branch with a Gust potentially.  Either that spot is important, or there shouldn't be that much sap in that one spot on the tree."
