"Well, it never hurts to carry a one or two free portable incubators with one when taking a longer trip or head to a location one does not visit often, or so Dad always says. Though, I must admit that I don't have a free one currently either, that one I carried the black-spotted Egg has been sent to the League for repairing by me. In fact, I'm already carrying three of these things, all occupied, but...well, do listen, if you're pondering what of your six Pokemon on hand to send to the PC - aren't you? - you don't have to anymore, as I can carry it the old style for you until we have access to a PC. Ven gave me his to carry too when we're not at a camp site as I own the Breeder's Lisence, so it's really no bother for me. The other option is sending your new egg to the PC and keep it there until you got an incubator. What would you prefer, Nathan?"

*impercible sigh out of slight worry* "Also, ehm, you're doing okay? As you too look a little pale."

Well, her offer makes some sense, seeing as she has a Breeder's License...though this also reminds him a little of when she first showed him the egg that would eventually hatch into Pancham...

He sighs.  Dang it.  He was kinda stuck right now.  He needed all of his pokemon on hand currently...well, technically, he didn't really need to keep Zippy around for too much, but he didn't want to separate the bees if he could help it.

"Alright, you can carry it for a little bit.  Just so you know, the egg checker estimated it would hatch in about 8 days if carried by the average trainer.  I'd prefer to carry it myself, but I really do need the party space right now...and this is an egg I definitely want to see hatched sooner rather than later.  Egg checker is 89% sure it's a Castform.  Of all the things to find left to the mercy of a creek's fast running currents..."

That next question gives causes him to pause.

"...I'm fine.  Just had a rough day, that's all.  I am SO ready to get out of this swamp..."

Kirlia and Swiftfire are both more than happy to agree with that last statement.

Yes, this does feel somewhat similar to her as well, but she doesn't care as she prefers not to dwell in this. She cannot change the past to undo things, neither does she want to hold any grudges, as her mind is busy enough with other things. Better not poison it, especially if any bonds to this young Trainer from a Ponyta Ranch are fragile. Too much has happened along the journey that hindered the strenghtening of it, but still she hasn't abandoned him entirerly.

She gives him an appreciating look before accepting the egg of his and carefully putting it way. (Adding it to Quickpage of charasheet) "Very well then, I'll take care of it for a little. There's no hatcher with me currently to speed these eight days up to some degree," average Trainer? Was she an 'average' Trainer at all...?, "but Braixen's internal blazing does add its piece of warmth. I agreed with Ven that he carries his Mystery Egg during breaks or campsites, but seeing that it's not too long until we reach Village, maybe there you'll have time to swamp around in your party to get a free space for the egg. Just keep me updated on your call on this alright?"

Castform, huh? That's...practically the Weather Pokemon... It's still her aim to one day being able to summon the rain to fall to her desire with her blue mouse. Well, well...

His assurance that he's doing fine earned him a gaze that remains fixated on him for a little longer, as she carefully tried to concentrate her senses on him and his feelings. Yes, there was exhaustion, worry and a tad bit of fear that wasn't too hard to imagine where it came from... She looked away though after having pondered for a few moments whether she should say something on this or not. "Well, then... If that's the thing, let us depart and tackle the remaining path 'til Arrowroot, shall we?"
