Kirlia shrugs at the statement, casts a worried glance at the door.  He could easily feel Nathan's worry, panic, insecurity...it was oozing into his emotions as well, though the reasons are different by far.  He very much wished he could actually help Nathan right now...

At the next question, Kirlia has to stop and think for a moment...how does he explain it?  Hmmm...well, maybe if he does that...

Kirlia points at himself.  Holds an arm straight up, lays the other across the top of it, making a T shape.  Leans the top a bit, as if it's tipping over.  Looks a bit sad, feels rather burdened.

Then he points at Ventus.  And Valder.  He would have pointed at Shiva too, but she's not there right now.  Holds both arms straight up, his hands forming the line across the top this time.   No wobbling.  Still feels burdened and sad, but...less so.

And then Kirlia slumps a little in the chair...whew...that was harder than expected, with Nathan's emotions bleeding into his own so easily right now...

The researcher briefly raised an eyebrow at the patamiming that Kirlia doing, before he quickly deciphered the meaning behind their actions as they went through the whole demonstration. Ventus ponders what he's going to say in response to such a startlingly simple answer, until he finally comes up with the right words and say: "So you are saying that we simply need to be their for him, support him in his moments of weakness and help him continue to stand tall? Or in other words, everyone should continue doing such things until he finally able to fully cope with the magnitude of the situation he's in and is better able to manage the stress that comes with it, correct?"

"*Sigh* I thought their would be another solution other than the obvious, no offense Kirlia, but I suppose that simplifies things greatly. All their is left to do is getting Nathan to more readily accept the help of others, rather than bottling it up until he can't anymore." The hand that covered his eye was removed, and now both arms hanging limpy by his side as he tiredly stated at the boy's best friend, words already on the tip of his tongue as he continues to speak. " .....I don't wish to impose upon you, especially since your views of me are not the brightest, but if me, Shiva, Valder, and Heart are going to provide our full aid towards helping Nathan out, he has to be open to such gestures of kindness in the first place. Can you work with him on that, and guide him to either me or Shiva if it seems he's about to suffer another breakdown? That would greatly improve our currently meager efforts, or so I imagine."

After he said this, he noticed how depressed Kirlia was and him struggling to handle his own emotions, causing him to focus a bit attention on his empathy until he found the source of the psychic's mental distortion. "Hmm.....I see that Nathan feelings are bleeding and merging with your own worried ones, Kirlia. If you wish, I could teach you how to block off or numb yourself to outside emotions, so you have some semblance of peace of mind. Distress, wrath, sadness, and other negative emotions proved most troublesome for me to deal with when I was a child until I built enough self control to shield me from the brunt of it, so I understand what you are dealing with right now, and am willing to help if you allow...."
