As of Pokemon Emerald, when you put a pokemon with Synchronize in the front of your party, there's a 50% chance that encountered wild pokemon will have the same nature. Makes it way easier to get competitive versions of unbreedable pokemon.(10-14-2016, 08:11 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: Two words: Heck no. The only thing keeping that is keeping things like N-Jerbolta, N-Mega Baariette, N-Turbjaw etc from becoming ungodly menaces is that you have to pray to RNG God to get a good spread of IV's. Breeding them would be opening Pandora's box, only with deadly radiation instead of all the world's evil's.And speaking of which about that Nuclear Jerbolta.
That, and the idea the radiation corruption is inheritable.... not liking that idea on a whole number of levels.
It didn't take long at all to get this. 31 IV's in Sp. Attack and Speed are all it really needs. And its nature is Serious. But does a corrupted nuke mon even need natures to begin with? You can use choice specs on it and sweep using Radioacid. I find this corrupted nuke mon to have some use in the NU tier. (Would UU work too?)
If we're going off of gen 6 mechanics as well, Synchronize could also be used on gift pokemon in the Undiscovered egg group to guarantee they have the same nature (Mystery Gifts and fossil revivals don't count though). This would work on Urayne, for example. Its IVs will still likely be nothing usable though...and there's nothing you can do about that except plead with the devs to also add in the 3+ perfect IVs mechanic from gen 6 for obtained pokemon in the Undiscovered egg group (or maybe even for unbreedable pokemon as a whole if the corrupted nuclears never become breedable).
