For a time, it was just dark.  Quiet.  Uneasy.

And then there were flames.  Vines, writhing among the crimson blaze, seemingly not caring for the intensity of the heat.

A building, fine one moment, destroyed and covered in burning vines the next...and then they continue to grow...spread...until everything is covered in a thick blanket of green...

And above it all...a Claydol wearing a crown, every one of its eyes open, all staring at the same thing...

Nathan awakes with a start in a cold sweat.  Was it...just a nightmare?

He looks around...he remembered...reading those estimates, and then...

Where's...where's Kirlia?

...

Nathan sits up in the bed and hugs his legs...Kirlia would come...he'd be here...everything would be fine...right?

He doesn't really want to get out of the bed right now...
