The new day dawns with a deep, deep hummmmm, a long and meandering mystical almost-tune. Then rattles join in for a time, from all the little huts on the north side of Arrowroot - cha RICHICHICHICHICHICHICHICHIchichichichichi chi chi. You can hear a few radios begin pattering on the south side from the more modern buildings and the Pokemon Center. Finally, deep, broad drums join the music from the Eternal Bonfire - BOOM ba ba BOOM ba ba BOOM ba ba. Politoed and humans work these massive brass and hide instruments.

Far away in the North, a tiny tiny answering hum can be felt in resonance, but only if you stand near the big boulders around the Eternal Bonfire. All over the Swamp, the Mamo are performing their morning ritual.

The sun cuts through the haze, and you can see just how fragile Arrowroot Village is, surrounded by marshlands on every side. Route 10 is a mere ribbon of civilization leading to a muddy dot piled with sticks and concrete.

After his offer to help manage Kirlia's emotions was politely turned down and they agreed to help Nathan open up more/come get him and Shiva if he desperately needs their support, Ventus gave them a nod of his head and let things lasp into comfortable silence between them for the rest of the night. Eventually, the empath dozed off into a dreamless slumber after keeping vigil for a few hours, but not after retrieving his own Pokémon and (if allowed/possible) handing Nathan's to the Nurse to take care of them until he was better. When the sun broke the horizon, the researcher had the unexpected but pleasant surprise of waking up to the sound of the distinct folk music of Arrowroot Village.

'Must be how they start and coordinate their day out here, when more modern means of doing so are shunned or not readily available yet,' he thought to himself, getting out of the chair he had been resting for hours in and doing some vigorous stretching to limber up, generating all sorts of bone popping and crackling noise in the process. Not the most pleasant place he slept in, but it was not the worst either, so soon after Ventus was ready to get showered, breakfast, and properly begin his first day in town via looking for sources of revenue and/or further restocking the group's supplies by any means!

.....If it were not for the fact he was waiting to see if Nathan had fully recovered from the shock of reading the email from his mother, that is.

Ventus glanced at the doorway to the boy's room in the ICU/whatever its called (he's not that type of doctor!) , and then at Kirlia, who was no doubt awakened by the morning song of the village, before letting out a sigh and spoke with his last night companion. "Kirlia, I'm going to be exploring the Center (Iron, you said most trades take place here, so...) looking for someone that will barter for a Carnivine I've recently captured in the swamp, and then be right back to check up on Nathan's condition, so please don't think I'm abandoning him in his time of need. I just need to settle some business before it gets pushed back, that is all...." *This happens before Nathan wakes up, so hopefully he'll be done with his business by the time he returns.*

Order: If trading takes up an Encounter slot, then Ven's going to spend his morning doing that by looking for a Item/Supply/Poke Trade for the Carnivine he has (No Specific thing I have in mind, so go nuts Iron!), and then immediately come back to see how Nathan is doing. If it doesn't take that long, then he's going to make a quick trip to the General Store to buy a single dose of Sweetroot, and then attempt to Craft 3 Potions using it, a regular Potion, and the Oran Berry he'll take from Lilith while visiting Nathan. Roll for that is Insight + Knowledge + Medicine, which is 7D6 Dice for me. If Failed, he'll keep the botched mixture(s) for his own later purposes, as Failure isn't always the end of things!
