For others who wish to invest in the Medicine skill, or for Crafting items, any combo that sounds like it will work and costs about 75% of the finished product, deserves a roll. Most recombinations will take up an encounter slot. And they get easier the more you do them.

I still have that bunch of arrowroot. Would it take a Roll to craft medicine out of them too? So far, you only said that the water from boiling the seeds can clean wounds and that the toasted seeds can cure fever.
Just in theory for now though, as Shiva will first see what 'magical aspects' the roots have before finally deciding what to do with them.
