Weavile managed to give you an utterly deadpan and unamused look inbetween his bouts of struggling that plainly conveys the notion of: 'Do you think I'm going to fall for such manipulation and trickery, especially after such things is what lead to THIS happening?' , before resolutely ignoring you entirely. You may not be lying, but neither is he incorrect in his assumptions, or is entirely unwarranted in feeling a tad bit miffed at Felicia trying to cuddle him to death. You also have a feeling he'd be flipping you off again if he could had the chance, but allas, he didn't.

'Keep him pinned for now, Felicia, and get me immediately if he breaks free.  I don't want to have to use Aura Sphere on him if he starts nabbing stuff at random, but I WILL use it if I have to.  Particularly after that little gesture he showed me.  Like I said, your funeral, Weavile.~'  (Insert using Nasty Plot here. )

Well, hopefully THAT got Weavile's attention since negotiating wasn't working.  Next step in the precautions...

'Mew, if anyone asks, you had me ask Felicia to keep Weavile pinned to keep him from swiping everything in sight.  Unless you want to go try and calm him down yourself, that's probably one of our better courses of action here.  He's rather angry with me atm, but quite frankly, something needed to be done, and I didn't want to bother you with trying to figure out how to stop him as soon as we got here, particularly since it looked like he was going to bolt as soon as Mr. Mime left.  I can tell you right now, he's not going to stay in his pokeball.  At all.  And it's a last resort, but if he does start stealing everything, I plan to KO him if he doesn't stop just so we don't have to worry about it.  He can grab a few souvenirs on our way out, but I'm not going to let him do as he pleases in this instance and get us all in massive trouble.'
