Ventus finished his song with nary a flourish or much aplomb, but never the less it ended on a high note, filled with thought that despite the misfortunes of life and the vile things that exist, their was always hope that things could be improved for the better. Its a belief he's proven himself, so he knows that its true.

Shiva, being a highly emotional person in the first place, practicing to clear her mind from any outside noise to leave room only for music/feelings/lyrics AND sharing a bond with Ven anyway, was incedibly moved as instead of repeating the original lyrics in her mind while gazing into the dancing embers of the bonfire, listened to Ven's own ones. In fact, she failed to hold any tears back, and needed a moment to realize them at first before drying them with the back of the hand that was not holding the stick carrying her dinner.

She avoided to look at Ven though as she spoke up though, feeling somewhat vulnerable, yet she was sporting a smile. "Ven, dear... that lyrics of yours, well, I...don't need to say anything about them. I guess as a next step, you can learn the melody of the song from my book? But...maybe not today..."

Shiva was not the only friend who's heart was touched by Ventus' Skirl, for Lilith (Who had been sitting on his shoulder and ignoring/enjoying the attention she received from the locals) had been listening to her trainer's song and found it hard not cry or let out a comforting chirp for them. Instead, she settled for patting their shoulder with one of their wings and gave them a nod of approval of the music they wove, as that allowed them both praise/consul him without sacrificing her prideful and aloof image she has in front of everyone. At the very least she now has an inkling of her trainer's inner pain/past, and that made them all the more respectful that they conquered it for the most part!

In reponse for both women's kind words/advice/gestures , the empath gave a wane but true smile to the both of them, patted his birdpent on the head for their show of silent support, and afterwards placing a gentle hand on his dearest friend's shoulder and nodded. "Thank you, dear. I'm sorry for making you cry on my behalf, as no one should because of event from my distant past, but I'm grateful you care enough to shed them for me. Yes, I'll learn the melody tomorrow, but for now how about we celebrate this night with fine food and even more delightful cheer, instead of ruminating on such negative things?"

Order: Enjoy the rest of the night with Shiva, Lilith, and Michael (Who will be let out soon!), and then head to bed with Shiva. If she asks about sharing a bed with him, he'll agree to it for her shake! Today has been a peaceful one, and I enjoy if all the more because of it!
