Yes, yes it does (but Fire Blast and Flare Blitz hit harder though. Inferno is 4 Power, Fire Blast and Flare Blitz are 5. Again, the main draw with Inferno is the guaranteed Burn 1/3). Why do you think I'm stockpiling Will points?
If I NEED Inferno or Hypnosis to land, then that's my failsafe!And Nathan's not going to use Inferno against the group...probably. If he DOES, though, there's one thing you can do to counteract it (and Hypnosis) really easily: evade. It has -5 Accuracy, so even with my huge dice pools, I'd be working with -7/8/9/10 accuracy, depending on when I use the move and how many actions I take.
Moves with huge accuracy penalties are really difficult to land if conditional evasion is a thing that's used, tbh.

Really simple, thankfully. The move does an extra +2 damage to the target. Which hurts. A lot.
