Maybe that's actually Nintendo's concern.  Maybe they're afraid if there are all these free fangames out there, nobody will want to buy Sun/Moon! Idea

Nah, I don't think that that's the point. Well, it's sure possible, but it would be ... totally weird...
Just trying to say I'm pretty sure there will be more MORE than enough people who will buy Sun/Moon. GameFreak did very well on the 7th Gen., I can see how much effort they've put into the game, how well they broadcasted the Hawaiian theme, how many new features they're introducing. And they're incredible at creating a hype, given all the leaks the continued showing on their official YouTube channel.
