The only Rapidash light we'd get is if Ditto transforms into Swiftfire from memory (which needs an Insight check with a pool of 2 dice).  Nathan doesn't have Swiftfire on hand right now.

And another reason Nathan's using Orthros to keep warm is he's already wearing 2 layers of clothing plus a coat.  Any more, and he'd barely be able to move.

Convenient that Ventus didn't think to ask Nathan about any of that and just jumped straight to passive aggression.

I would say how would Ventus/I know what Pokémon Nathan has at the moment since they never told them, but I guess that's being pedantic at this point. Besides, even if he knew you didn't have Rapidash he still has a point about wearing another sweator/more layers of clothings in his mental tirade against you (He wouldn't care you would barely be able to move).

Ventus/Shiva could also borrow Ditto from them and then use his high Insight to roll out for its Transformation instead, if Iron/Nathan would allow that.
