If the colossal python had eyebrows, they would certainly be raised as she watched Nathan and outstretch hand, and listened to his hesitant words. Oh? So Nathan wants to lay hands on her now, after he repeatidly offended her and master so? After all the heartache her master suffer because of his stubborn, bullheadness? That look in his eyes.....the boy's trying to prove something too, is he now? *Hiiiissss.....*

Well, if Nathan wanted her approval, the opportunity to achieve some nebulous, personal goal, then he could have it.....

Apsis pinned the boy with a stare, before they slowly, carefully (and non threatenly) opened their maw, revealing her two long, glistering fangs . She then gave the boy a knowing Look laddened with meaning, and flicked her tongue over one of them.

The message was clear: if the boy want to touch her, then the first place he'd have to start is with her nice, occasionally deadly fangs. The question now is, would he? For creatures with eyebrows, both of Ventus were both raised up to his hairline, and he tensed, ready to intervene if necessary. This.....was something he didn't expect out of his regal, beautiful monster of a snake....

Nathan's scared of a lot of things right now.  Always been nervous and skittish about others.

Poison's always been one of those many things.

He...he didn't want to be scared of Aspis, though...

...so despite how much his hand is nervously shaking, he touches one of Aspis's fangs, his eyes closed as he does so...

...it sends a VERY cold shiver down both his spine and Kirlia's that not even being engulfed in flame could stave off...brrrrrr...Nathan almost drops Orthros...

Kirlia's tense now too.  If Aspis tried anything that might physically harm Nathan, he was going to give the snake a (hypnotic) stare of his own to try and get the snake to stop/relax...
