And the TUVEI's back again!

(Well, yes and no.  Anything that has a chance to go wrong, they are usually employed.  If it's reasonably certain that you'll succeed with little difficulty and no penalties, or it's not a combat scenario or some variant of one (where things always have a chance to go wrong, however slim), they're usually left alone entirely.  When they ARE employed...well, they've been...temperamental, to say the least.  There's been several occasions where Windos has tried to 'correct' them with holy water, throwing out the old dice and getting new ones, etcetera.  It's...not really worked so well.  They still seem to throw out strings of massive failures and crippling successes like there's no tomorrow!  ...though with how some of the results have turned out in a few of those rolls in particular, I wouldn't be surprised if Lady Luck was definitely screwing with the dice personally to fulfill her own whimsical, unknowable desires.)

(Of course, if it seems to be getting too out of hand, Windos can always 'reroll' them, and he has done that before.  But it's in a similar vein to retcons: we'd rather avoid doing that if possible, since it defeats the purpose of the action in the first place.)

(Of course, Windos doesn't have ALL the power over the dice.  Just most of it.  Lady Luck usually has the final say in the matter, and what gets rolled...well, that's sometimes influenced by me.  If I know what dice should be rolled, I tell him, and if I make a mistake he doesn't catch or he makes one of his own and it actually plays out in your favor, we just leave it be.  If it's NOT in your favor, though...well, let's just say I pore over what happens VERY carefully to make sure you're not getting shortchanged, and we make 'corrections' as necessary.)

(Anyways, the short of it is that there's a chance factor that we can't ignore nor circumnavigate.  It's just...there.  An integral part of this world you're in...doesn't mean there aren't ways to better the odds and manipulate fate ever so slightly, though.  Most of them being pokemon related, but that's kinda given considering how 'magical' they are.  Even without some of those tools, though, you've been VERY good at overcoming the sometimes seemingly insurmountable odds.)

(...well, just remember that you're not alone in this, Reiner.  Lance might have clawed his way to the top of the League without much assistance aside from his pokemon, but you don't have to.  We're watching out for ya, and there are those who wish to help you succeed in your goals.  Hmmm...actually, that's not a bad idea...well, ciao for now.  I have some brainstorming to do.)

The TUVEI powers down again.

The T.U.V.E.I. spontaneously pops up again shortly after Dragonstrike is finished using it, and they was a rather blunt message on it to greet them.

(Don't. Taunt. Or. Challenge The. Dice. Its a piss poor idea at best, and will only spell your untimely doom at WORST. I have a excruciatingly difficult enough time keeping them in line with the series of blessings, rituals, chants, or intermediately buying new dice sets altogether, and I don't need you putting them into a wicked and/or whimisical mood, or heaven forbid getting Lady Luck or her sister Miss Fortune actively plotting WITH them.)

(Send a pray of forgiveness to them, give up an offering, anything to appease them , and then keep those comments to yourself, unless you WANT more terrifically Arceas wild luck plaguing your every single action from now until kingdom come!)

(And get your mind out of the gutter about 'Fate' ! Their is no such thing, only the plans of man and otherwise that try to control the random chaos that is existence itself. Whatever happens to you is wholely due to internal and external factors on your part and without, so quit taking an attitude about it and just focus on what you have to do NOW to survive long enough to HAVE a future. We are here to guide and help you overcome these challenges, not hamstring you every step of the way. Sheesh......)

The interface then vanishes, leaving a somewhat startled Mew in the wake of such 'robust' conversation, before her mind quickly caught back up to snap her out of it. 'Uh.....what they said, Reiner. As much as they act like overly nebulous and dubious individuals, especially in the case of Windos, the bastard , they are here to help you, so try not to give them too hard of a time unless they start acting like belland. Or continue acting like so, in Windos' case.'

Your divine feline partner then picks up that something isn't quite......'right' with you, and is swift to adopt that worried look of theirs once more.
'Reiner, are you alright? I know that learning more about your Awareness and the underlying facts of your reality, so if you need some time or explainations to process this completely, I'm more than happy to give them to you Partner! ......Just don't let this stress you out too much, ok?
