Something cool I saw they were working on was a CLASH command, where you could use your declared offensive move to try to stop an opponent's move. Sounds super dramatic and awesome, though I have no idea how you'd do it on forums.

I remember reading about that as well, but I simply believe unless that you have a really powerful move or are REALLY strong yourself, using Clash is not as good alt to just tanking damage and hitting back, or Evading if you have the DEX/Evasion.

Yeah, evading is just outright better if you can pull it off, since they're both all or nothing for their effects.  Clash is for the big, strong, slow pokemon, Evade is for the nimble ones that can't afford to take a hit.
