As it turns out, half agreeing to her prior Offer does help somewhat, as Clair stops her angry and incoherent pacing to cran her and stare at you with wide, pin prick eyes.

"....Really? You'll.....come back home with me? Without a fight? .......Grrraggh....I wish I wasn't right, Reiner, since.....since its a lot to take in. Just thinking about it makes my blood boil at the insanity and injustice of it all...........grrrrrr."

Oh, and she smells your fear and tiredness, btw . Fortunately, she's far too out/not quite out of it enough to pounce on you in this moment of weakness, so yay?

"...I know.  I can hardly believe it's all happened as well...it's all just so...mindbogglingly ridiculous...but here I am...with people outside of my 'job' depending on me, Mew as one of my best friends in the whole wide world...the Great Ball was the best thing I had on me at the time for the situation, but she doesn't mind, just so you know..., no end to the endlessly dangerous situations I seem to keep getting thrown into regardless of whether I'm jumping in intentionally...I've been holding that Dragon Rage in all week, trying to stay sane..."

...Reiner regains a little of his composure at this point, gets back down to business, does his best to comfort Ridia still.

"...before I can fully agree, cuz, you need to know one more thing.  Well, maybe two or three.  One: the boss considers me...invaluable due to the...unique traits I gained after battling Mew.  He WILL come after me and everyone I care about when I leave the team.  Either to 'convince' me to come back or free me if I leave under the pretense of not going willingly...or to kill me if he believes I won't be coming back at all.  That's going to put you, my parents, Emily, Kyubi...you're all going to be in the line of fire, and I'm not sure exactly how to handle that since I can't protect all of you from all the best Rocket agents simultaneously...though you, I'm not as worried about, obviously, since you're one of the few people I'll actually admit is stronger than I am..."

"Two: I still have some business to take care of here in the city.  I'm supposed to meet Valarie Malcolm tomorrow night.  Talk with him about his offer.  Or maybe I just give him some information.  Maybe he'll be able to help.  He promised to protect me from the Wild Hunt if I went with him, so maybe he could offer similar protection for Emily and my parents...once we're finished here, I'm also planning to give Erika an out so she doesn't have to be completely tied down by the organization.  They've gotten a stranglehold on her thanks to some of my info gathering, but I didn't tell them everything...so I can maybe negotiate something with her as well...and those two Cursed Arms left in the city...one of them is in that fallout zone I mentioned earlier, and I was planning to try and pick up some equipment so Mew and I can go deal with the bloody problem ourselves without razing the area and the surrounding blocks to the ground and drawing the attention of...well, everything and everyone, including a few Legendaries that Mew would rather not have to worry about.  And then there's some other personal matters I need to attend to, make sure they go smoothly, so I can't leave Team Rocket and the city right away."

"Three: ...all I want to do is...change Blackthorn for the better.  Prove the Elders and our grandfather wrong.  Show them there's something fundamentally wrong with the current system these days.  There's no need to scrap the whole thing, but...this isn't the first time the elders have been wrong, driven away a dragon they should have taken better care of.  Lance was the other one, and we both know he will never call himself a Blackthorn Dragon Tamer.  If we can...keep something like this from happening ever again, or at least work on it...I won't feel so disgusted about going back...something needs to change..."
