Whoahw, cuddle session with that oddball of researcher to celebrate her victory over that boy came sudden, but nonetheless Shiva somewhat appreciated it. Greatly, actually, she silently leaned into that Bewear-hug soaking up that praise of his while squeezing the Snivy-Plush he gifted her way back in Ginger Town between themselves. Poor little Grass-Starter-Plush, hope fully it was used to so much affection! Speaking of affection, Shiva does allow and even enjoy Ven being so close to her, which is not only a privilege for selected and dear people but also a good sign. He'll definitely pick up some warm feelings from her.

Just when she was about to say that she's fine with that and doesn't need to be sorry, he brought up the wonderful idea to fed some of HIS life force to her spectral candle! ... Wait, WHAT?! Shiva was...not sure whether this was a good idea, which she made sure in the way she looked at him after he asked for her two cents in this matter. "Ven... You sure you want to do that? I'd...well, I'd appreciate it, but... Ah, oh well, you have more vitality in your veins than I have, not only now, and it's for the wellbeing of my Pokemon... I said I'd reward Litwick for his good performance, so we'll go by that. Out with you, my spectral candle."

Shiva summoned her Litwick directly onto the back of her right hand, and immediately she felt being drawn by the small flame he was casting. It bathed the near surrounding in an eerie purple-blue light, which her eyes behind glasses reflected... She had to look away before she'll sink in. "So, Litwick, dear one... I said you'll be rewarded, so here we go. Greet Ventus", she turned her hand so that Litwick can see him into the eye, "who will gift you piece of his own life force to you tonight to burn away for nutrients and energy. It will likely...well, taste different that mine and eventually I'll gift you some of mine as well, but for now..." Next, she extended her hand to bring the ghostly candle closer to Ventus, but she keeps him on her hand. "Begin with things Ven, let me observe what you described me earlier, please."

His dearest's friend's radiant comfort and joy she felt over his surprise cuddle/praise session sorely tempted Ventus to start another to feel/make Shiva feel that pleasant combination of feelings once more, but valiantly managed to restrain himself. He just want to celebrate her recent achievement, not try to seduce her  overwhelm her with his genuine affections to the point she was senseless! The empath DID notice the expected dip in her mood after he firmly refused to participate in the Little Cup, but he tried not to let it cast a dour gloom on their current conversation, and was grateful that she didn't pursue the topic any further. He didn't enjoy arguing with his crush period, after all.

The sociologist almost chuckled as his offer to 'feed' her Litwick finally sunk in and trigger a cutely worried reaction from her, but held it in and simply gave her a calm smile and a nod of his head when she agreed to his proposal. When her spectral candlestick was summoned on her hand, Ventus closed his eyes took an deep breath and steeled himself in body, mind, and soul while Shiva explained the details to them, before re-opening them and giving them a calm, pleasant, but never the less serious looking smile. "Greetings, Litwick. As Shiva has said, I will be providing your meal tonight, but I want you to keep in mind three things before we begin the life exchange. One, I will only give you as much as you need and I can freely provide without harming myself. Two, do not ask or attempt to take anymore than I have decided to gift you. Three, I will act in my self defense if you attempt anything malicious or harmful to my person. So long as you keep these in mind and act in good faith, then their will be no qualms between us. Do we have a deal, Litwick?"
