As you venture toward the magnetic caves, you discover your electronic devices aren't working right. A sign warns tourists to consider leaving their electronics in the provided bins to avoid damaging them.
The Magnetic Caverns are a graveyard of broken metal objects. It looks a bit like the Scrapyard. Two objects act as powerful magnets here: a squarish beam running akimbo across the sloping roof, and an exposed quadrant of a lumpy spheroid. The rock is made of layers. Every five layers or so is a red band of iron, conducting the magnetic field even farther.
There are several stalagmites, a canyonlike area, and a collapsed area. Little clouds of red dust float on a mysterious breeze.
