Ventus was a tad bit puzzled about his dearest's irreverence towards Kingdra, but he soon shrugged it off, figuring it was just an offshoot of her fae nature that made her so blasé about Dragon types. 'I just hope that relative fearlessness won't lead her to recklessness, as that last thing I want is to rescue her from a drake's ferocity I she invariably pissess one of......' Either that, or......no, he doesn't want to even CONSIDER that possibility......
It was scant moments after this comment, however, that Shiva's mood took a precipitous drop into the dismal, and that odd and curious twin tailed emotional pattern emerged once more, immediately alerted the empath that all was not well with his sweetheart. A frown tugged on his lips as shortly after this discovery she explained what put her in such a tizzy, and could not help but let out a sigh and he carefully placed a hand on her left shoulder. "If I recall correctly, he mainly wanted one for research and mail service, or at least that was the case when I trade away the Tarous I caught to him. Nothing more, nothing less. ......Shiva, I can't advise you on whether or not what is the right or correct choice to keep or relinquish Skelp, my dear, as this is a deeply personal decision on your part, and my interference could only cause problems when their are not."
The researcher rubbed his face with his other hand, before continuing. "I can only give you my opinion as a Pokémon Researcher and Sociologist. Dragalge is one of the most toxious and foul tempered Pokémon that is known to man, and when provoked can and will indiscriminate fire off highly corrosive blasts of Poison at whatever set it off. Even if you make it completely Loyal toward yourself, their is always the chance it will not share the same camaradence with you towards others, especially if they pose any significant threat towards themselves or you. I'm also not too sure whether or not it will get along with the rest of your Pokémon, as your current team is mainly composed of Grass, Fairy, and Psychic types, all of which either loathe or fear Poison types, or would otherwise greatly intimidate one. Cottenee will certainly not appreciate the company of Skelp, or will be highly adverse in interacting with it due to their 4X weakness to Poison. I've heard and researched it takes great time and effort on a Trainer's part to evolve a Skelp into a Dragalge, so you'll also have to dedicate a large portion of your time bonding and training with them in order to achieve that goal. "
"Overall, the Skelp line would be a rather challenging for you in particular to raise to adulthood, but if you are commited to raising them, then by all means do so. Dragalge is a powerful draconic threat that can resolutely counter its biggest threats in Fairy types, and its corrosive poison can have all sorts of useful applications depending on how its used. This is only my advise as a Pokémon Researcher/Sociologist, of course. If you have opinions that differ greatly from mine, then feel free to ignore me and carve your own path ahead. After all, like I said, only you can make this choice, Shiva......"
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
