Nathan doesn't really comment on the recognition part.  He knows that, and it's not really that exciting for him.  He's just happy enough with enjoying his own hobby/obsession on his own terms.

"...well, just tell me when ya want to do it then.  Got until this evening, since that's when the Little Cup is going on."

The researcher was a bit curious as to their lack of enthusiasm or reaction to his 'Fame and Recognition' comment, as most acedemics like him would be thrilled to be offered such attention and the opportunities it provides,  but decided to shrug it off in the end. It wasn't his place to dictate how one should feel on a topic.....even though at times he wish it was, as was the case with Orthros. Bah.......

"Hmm.......would now be a good time then? I have other plans I want to accomplish today, but they are not urget and can be put off for a little while longer. After all, its not everyday you learn about a language thought to be impenetrable to modern minds!"

Order: Have Ventus spend an Encounter with Nathan catching up/learning what they have uncovered on Old Unown, and auto helping (IE: Using his own Insigh and Knowledge without my interactions) to help him further translate what's hasn't been. Afterwards, Ventus will be heading along to Route 4 to conduct that exchange we'ved talked about, Iron! Learning is fun, when the topic is of interest!
