I honestly hope that KOing Clair stops the majority of this madness and makes it far more manageable...because otherwise, everyone's toast.
KOing Clair WILL stop the berserk lethality, right? Please tell me it will, and her pokemon won't just keep going on an M.R. fueled rampage...
Also, on a completely different topic...does an Assault Vest still only protect against Special Moves, or is it just +2 Defense all around (which is kinda OP, really...just like the whole Counter/Reflect stuff would have been without the previous rulings...)?
Reiner can still pull out HIS Cursed Arm and shoot at her/her Pokémon, which should soften them up somewhat. The gunshots are not likely to kill her or her Pokémon unless you are actively TRYING to, so..... He could also summon another Pokémon , since he can command more than 2 at a time and Clair can't do shit about that except maybe join the fray herself!
KOing Clair will be like cutting the strings off of a puppet: If she gets her lights knocked out, so will the rest of her Pokémon! Sorta like what happened with you, only your Pokémon immediately started to PANIC! without your guidance....
Assault Vest blocks both Physical and Sp. Defense, but only provides + 1 Defense and - 1 Pain on wearer to balance it out. So KOing them will be a little tougher, but not insurmountable like Aerodactyl (Their Surprise, btw, was + 3 Defense against SE attacks, so if Mew had decided to NOT use one, things might have gone smoother than they are right now.
Yes, but Reiner's third action has to be the dance, which will probably KO her anyways, so...as long as she doesn't flinch Reiner and doesn't attack Weavile because he's still hanging back and not actively getting involved in the fight yet (Z-moves ARE ranged, after all), then things should be fine as long as that goes off...yeah, just gotta stall for as long as possible to get that off, it seems...
Ah, so Garchomp is slightly squishier than I first thought...got it.
Hmmm...that's an...interesting surprise...and a rather overpowered one at that, considering how many weaknesses an Aerodactyl has...
