(To be fair, the Dragon Z-Dance is really easy. Not a lot of movement aside from the arms after leaning forward.)
Silence.
The eye of the storm.
In a way, it's both calming and completely disturbing. Even amidst the calm, the storm rages on around it...and then the chaos resumes when the storm continues on its way...
...
...the moment before it happened, Reiner felt a sense of...accomplishment. Assurance.
Yang had accepted him as a true Dragon Master...
It's this calm that helps Reiner to continue having hope in this scenario.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
...he slowly gets up...urrrggghh...that headache was getting worse...
The cloaked figure shudders again. That echoing BOOOMMM!!! could be heard from miles away...Another worried glance from their Scizor.
...
"...something's happened. I don't know what, but something has."
'...damn you, Dragonstrike. I didn't ask for a title...no, I don't care how fitting you think...'
The armored bug gazes in the direction they're traveling in. Their companion's instincts were almost always spot on...even without audio-visual clues...
...
...if they think something's happened that needs their attention, then something usually has.
...wait...I never 'said' anything to him here...
"...we need to get to Celadon. Now. He's there...he has to be."
...
The Scizor nods in assent. It was eager to finally meet this person its companion was searching for...
...best worry about that later...
...
...Reiner surveys the battlefield...Weavile and Garchomp, down...Clair and Kingdra, groggy, but obviously still berserk...Mew, hurt, but not super badly for now...Yang, doing fine, impressively, though still looking like he'll go back on the war path once he gets his bearings again...
...
...time to take advantage of this. He could still win, still save Clair...
He hadn't lost her yet, if Garchomp's reaction, Weavile's breathing, and that expression he'd seen on Clair's face were anything to go by.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reiner quickly pulls open the medicine pocket of his bag and discreetly keeps it in reach.
'Mew. Don't worry about Baton Passing right now. Between, you, me, and Yang, we can end this NOW. I've got both your back and Yang's for Clair's next two lethal attacks. Try and remove Kingdra from this battle now with Me First. He's almost certainly using a dragon move since he has to keep Yang from reaching Clair. KOing Kingdra should clear the path for you and Yang to tag team Clair. Then I can make sure the both of you are healed up after Clair's next two attacks. If you still haven't downed her after all that...use Me First on her for one last hit that will hopefully KO her. Make absolutely sure those Me Firsts land. Kingdra needs to go down NOW, and we need to end this before Clair does damage we can't heal off easily if at all possible...'
Me First on Kingdra!
Accuracy: 6* Dex + 5 Fight + 0 Perform - 5 actions = 6 D6 (conditional will point for this attack)
Damage: whatever Kingdra's using, +1! (Dragon Pulse would be great, so hopefully Yang is keeping the seahorse tied up enough for that 9 D6 +1 non lethal damage to go off! Does the UB Aura still apply to this 'attack', though? Every damage die counts...in theory.)
Effect: +1 Priority move copying! Fun!
Dazzling Gleam on ALL the conscious dragons
Accuracy: 14 base - 6 Actions = 8 D6
Damage: 4 D6 + 1 Damage
Me First on Clair!
Accuracy: 6* Dex + 5 Fight + 0 Perform - 7 Actions = 4 D6 (conditional Will Point for this as well, but hopefully it's not needed...)
Damage: Same as whatever the copied move's is +1! (which will probably be 6 D6 + 1 of lethal damage... definitely won't kill Clair by itself, but that's probably going to HURT.)
Effect: Priority +1, copies the foe's next move and uses it immediately!
Note: This move doesn't reroll the copied move's accuracy based on what the book says. Just rolls its own. And if Clair's KOed before this Me First goes off, it fails to activate since Clair won't be able to take any kind of action (which is important because Mew might be following these orders to the letter...)
OUTRAGE!
Accuracy: 11 base - 4/5 actions = 7/6 D6
Damage: 4 D6 + 1 Damage
Effect: Yang becomes Confused and gains +2 Defense from Marvel Scale when this move finishes.
Reiner has healing items of varying strengths discreetly in reach. When his turn comes around, he's ready to heal any lethal damage his pokemon have sustained with whatever item will heal all of/the most Lethal damage with his 4th action (No Full Restores for this action). The 'mon with more Lethal damage is prioritized, but Mew gets the Herbal Concoction (to heal 6 Lethal damage) or a Hyper Potion (which would heal 5 lethal damage) for 8+ lethal damage no matter what Yang's HP is at.
5th action, he'll fully heal Mew's lethal damage if she has 5+ or Yang has none. Heal Yang's lethal damage fully otherwise. If neither has lethal damage, then heal Yang's HP fully.
It could all end this round, one way or another...
