[Game thread] Skull Ruins Pokerole

"If you would allow, I'm more than willing to take care of both of them for the day. While I'll be focusing on volunteer works at the Shelter mainly, I'll make sure they'll get plenty of jolly fun in the rain, and perhaps help train them if I have any free time left for it!"

"...*achoo*...I'm...a little under the weather today, so...*sniff*...Ventus is going to be taking you two outside later...*achoo*...okay?  I'd do it myself, but...*achoo*...*sniff*...he'll have to do it for me instead...it's just for...*achoo*...today.  If you feel uncomfortable, Forthright...*achoo*...just stick with Starmie, alright?"

Assuming Nathan's pokemon don't have any issues with this, Nathan will loan Ventus Starmie's pokeball and Forthright's Blue Fitted Apricorn (careful, as she's by no means obligated to stay in it if she doesn't want to!)

Ventus already said enough and gave enough praise for Nathan deciding correctly, so Shiva keeps quiet for now while keeping her arms crossed and her deadpan expression fades into a satisfied one. This one time, her words reached through, they made it to bypass his trademark stubborness that was helpful in some situations and plain conflic-alluring in other situations... True, it couldn't be ruled out that she too, if being very very honest, would prioritize the wellbeing of a dear Pokemon having her OT+ID over her own, but contrary to Nathan (?) she carried rainy-weather-gear with her.

"Good decision, Nathan. Get well soon, and have a fruitful rest for today... We'll make sure your Pokemon are well, too." Once having said that, she gently nudges Ventus to catch his attention. "I, ehm, wanted to make a quick trip to the Department Store during lunch break anyway, Ven, so I can easily take Starmie and...what was her name again...Forthright with me, outside of their Pokeball. Alongside Marill and Vaporeon." (Is that Castform still outside of Pokeball? If so...) Now she opened her arms again and carefully extended one of her hands to that young Weather-Pokemon, allowing it to sniff on the back of her hand if it likes, all while giving it a reserved smile. True, that Castform already saw her and knows her, but direct contact to a still young Pokemon was a different matter, it's one level higher - mess up here, and you'll at worst never make it to earn a young one's trust! "There, young one. I won't do anything to you. Listen, your Master's not able to take you out into the rain today, but I could fulfill that for him if you'd like and let me. If you'd prefer to not be carried by me, stick to Starmie instead as he suggested, or one of my Water Types. Now... uhm..." *withdrawing her arm, either after having given Forthright a careful pet shall she agree or not depending on how she'd react* "Let us get...going then, shall we, Ven?"



Next...Shelterwork!

Tropius can stay up at the green roof again, as usual. Sure, Shiva would enjoy staying up there as well and watch what he does all the hours and how he interacts with the other Pokemon up there, but no time for that... At least he can enjoy some freetime and gets some fresh air. He receives a stroke over his forehead as usual when Shiva is wishing him well and promises that she'll pick him up later again.

This time, he was not the only Pokemon to do that however. In a flash of white light, Nightshade got summoned to the scene, immediately being picked up by Shiva and motioned to take a look at the green roof. "So, uhm, dear one... I've been think that maybe you would enjoy spending some hours under the fresh air as well for today. Can you feel how moist the air is? After all that sunny weather, how about you hydrate yourself again a little? Water from the sky is non-calcareous, so it's even better for a sweet grassy Pokemon like you. Do not worry, I'll pick you up in a few hours, I'm nearby even if I'm out of sight as I'm within this same building. If it's getting too much for you or you spot nasty birdlike Pokemon, seek some shelter under the leaflike wings of your companion. Yes, this big dragonlike one." *patting Tropius on the back, showing that he's friendly* "You'll keep your small cherrylike companion safe, right? Both of you, do take care of the barbed wire, as usual."

Your job at the Shelter today is to don protective fire gear and work with a Charmeleon. It is thought that he will evolve soon into the notoriously disobedient Charizard! He needs to see trainers he can respect. "There are many different kinds of respect, and you never know which one will ease the mind of a dragon!"

That Charmeleon...needs to see Trainers that he can respect? Oh... uhm, Shiva was not sure whether she'd be one to be respected by such a vigorous Fire Type, but...arrrgh, that's the task for today, so she has to adapt and try! >///< Luckily Ventus is with her today so she won't have to deal with that soon-dragonlike Pokemon alone.

Oh...wait, actually not alone at all. She had two Water Types with her and outside of their Pokeball at the moment...hehehehehe... That certainly eases some subtle fear and insecurity to a degree. Before donning that protective fire gear and heading to actually meet that Charmeleon, Shiva casted one half-worried glance over to Ven, before hesitantly and almost timidly speaking out towards Director North what has been giving her headaches the whole way to the Shelter... Or who has been giving her headaches. "Uhmm... I'm having a short question before that, Director... So, well, where is Dr. Hypericac? Still here at the Shelter? I, eh, don't need to see or speak to him, there's nothing new yet, but I just wanted to know..."

Now then, finally to that Charmeleon... Naturally that Shiva is keeping both Marill and Vaporeon outside during the whole task, as well at least trying to give herself authoritive in gesture and body language. Not the I-am-the boss-and-you-are-nothing-type of authority, but rather the There-are-rules-to-follow,-behave-yourself-type of authority.

She's also holding Ventus back at first, as there is one thing she desired to to before they'll get close to that Charmeleon... Fire gear was one thing, but it was an open secret that this evolved Fire Starter has the potential to incinerate its surroundings shall it become agitated... No need to risk burning the Shelter down. "Marill dear one, I know you haven't had much of a chance to test the increased power of your Water moves... Well, here's where I - we - could make good use of that. Please increase the moisture of the room by using Water Sport." (8 dice in Accuracy, just in case)

Vapreon, naturally, was rather curious about Marill dong that. That's not rain, nor what she can do with Aqua Ring, what kind of mischievous trick was that!? Master has not said a word about that!! Eeeeek, do want too!!!

She casts a look at Shiva expressing these sentiments

....Naturally, it didn't work, as much effort she was putting into it. Hmpf! But... she wanted to be involved toooo! Master has promised teaching her all sorts of tricks, why not that one!? Meeeeeeeeeeeeh!

Eh, ANYWAY, if she cannot do things on her own, then she'll just make sure her companion can do well on that move! Maybe this will earn her Master's attention, grrrrr!!!! Having made up her mind like that, Vaporeon let out a determined (and half annoyed) cry, before sliding her mermaid-tail underneath Marill...only to flip the fae mouse into the air the next moment to make sure her Water Sport moistens the whole room, with every corner and stuff! Luckily she has, even unintentionally, channeled her power right so that Marill was not hitting the ceiling, she got skillfully caught up and balanced on the tail by Vaporeon again.

Hah! That was fun, the waterly Eeveelution looked rather confident and satisfied. She'd have nothing against doing such a stunt again, hopefully impressing her Master... Vaporeon has learned Helping Hand for 0xp.


(Phew... Huge Post where I desired to adress and solve several things done. Awaiting reactions and progress now.)
