Ah, that's not much of a problem. To enter the Online Lobby in-game, you need to speak with the Nurse Joy to the right on the upper floor of a Pokemon Center, let the Game save, then click 'Add/Search Match', then 'Add friend', then enter the player's Online ID you want to trade with/battle (see mine above). I'll do the same, and when both players are online (visible by a green Pokeball beside the name), one can request a trade and we will be brought to a screen where the trade can be conducted.

Alternatively, we can use the GTS, for that sake place your Cometeor on it asking for a male Cocancer Level 41, I'll conduct the trade then once I'm online. Then we'll trade back. But there's always a chance that someonelse snatches the trade, depends.
