Reason for it could be boiled down to 'his own hidebound and paranoid beliefs clashing and tortuously sparking against the fact that maybe Orthros isn't a completely evil being that deserves death, parahship, or banishment.' Or even more simply put, he currently incapable of accepting the belief that Orthros is a good little puppy now and that Nathan has truly bonded with him, and instead classifys it as a twisted impossibility that the boy STILL achieved through nebulous (and to his mind, terrorfying) ends that he simultaneously accepts and rejects.

Ah, that sounds quite alright, actually. I'd be happy if we can just leave things concerning that deltadog now and at such a point and that's it... Because I'm pretty sure there won't EVER be any more positive development of this, regardless of what happens, both my chara and Ven have their beliefs and prejudices in this matter, it's not out of place at all for them to react they way they are, and I actually want to focus on other things than this. Shiva has somewhat faintly forced accepted Orthros as a member of Nathan's Pokemon, nothing more and nothing less, she doesn't really want to know much he bonded with it, she actually couldn't care less.

If Ven would desire to speak about this with her, about what he witnessed and thinks due to that, she'll be there to listen and comfort him if needed. Won't change her own view, however.
