Director North comes out personally to chat. "Ah, this Charmeleon, a classic story. A sweet Charmander abandoned for being weak. Defeated by Dagny despite a type advantage. We took it in, though it was not disobedient, for if it ever evolved we thought it likely to become more ill-tempered. Correctly so, for it was soon this Charmeleon with a completely different personality! It seems to get angrier by the day, and closer to evolving, too, which will make things even worse."

"Pyroar we are not so sure on. He prefers the company of people to Pokemon. He's even fine with children. He likes the Ultra Ball he was left on our doorstep in. I think he was probably owned by someone who did not battle much or own any other Pokemon. We've never tried to make him battle, so I don't know how he would respond to that. He's nice and healthy though, despite his lack of battle exercise!"
