Due to the timing of the encounters, though, Ventus probably finishes his shift around the time Shiva's done with that battle she had planned.  Hence why I said Nathan is waiting outside the Shelter on one of the nearby benches.  Shiva could easily run into him, Ventus, and Charmeleon there.

Sensitive topic or not, she's always eager to learn more about Pokemon even if it's dark - she has an adult and mature mind, while it'd make her feel bad and sad on a certain matter, it feels unlikely that it'll dragg her down, as she's having other issues to deal with - plus she can calm things if the situation developes...into a bad direction.

Hmm.... If the timing of Encounters is like that, I guess she'll notice that Nathan is waiting for someone (likely Ventus, who else), wave to him, then have her battle - afterwards, she'll meet both of them and they can head to the GPC all together.

Oh, and yes, I have no problem giving out battle instructions while simultaneously being in my battle. Completely rolling it out may be not too much of an option, as it's a 4vs4 Double Battle - may take a while, but Shiva hasn't had a battle for looong, she yearns to try out Tropius and Marill's new moves.

Is that fine for everyone?
