- Even with Mind Reader Spores one successful Putting-Delphox-to-sleep would be nullyfied by a held Chesto Berry, and the fiery mage has the chance to hurt him with Mystical Fire or chant a Fire Pledge while Michael sets up depending on the Init order. But true, I missed that he has Stone Edge, that makes him dangerous.
 
- Really? I thought Magic Room blocks the effects of Held Items as well, but if the poisoning is 'automated' then it won't work and Heal Block combined with changing a Breloom's Ability would be a better choice.


- Of course he wouldn't be 'weak or defensless' my dearest, but since the Poison Heal-Toxic Orb Combo plays quite a role in his power I've been think on how to cross this with priority.

- Nope, the +2 Strenght is only triggered if there is Plus and Minus on one's own field, having Plus at Shiva's side and Minus on Michael would not trigger it as confirmed by GM.

- Michael can still keep spamming Spore until they fall and STAY asleep, and while Shiva can spend Items to fix that, its going to be quite costly to do so...... That, and if shroombro gets frustrated enough, Stone Edge + Mind Reader = Almost sure fire SE Crit!

- Ven always makes sure to let Michael out of his Pokeball after being healed at PCs to make sure Toxic Orb procs, so that when he's summoned he's already Poisoned, and therefore doesn't have to worry about Magic Room plaing havoc on his strategy. Heal Block + Ability Change is the method you want to use to mulch him!

- Welp, recalled and summon Hanael with Magnitude waiting to KO one/both!

Regardless of how well the mushroom of champeons would fare against your team, he would still have to struggle against them, so you certainly have accomplished in limiting how useful he would be!
