Hmmm...Little Cup matches are in the evening though.  We'd have to delay going to Cress City by another day to watch that.

We don't HAVE to watch these - but if we'd like to have Tanuki guide us through Mount Sentry or even only speak with her short, we're soft-forced to delay departure by a whole day. I personally don't feel like this is really necessary as we can still get into contact with her once we're in Cress City, plus it's not even safe if Tanuki would we willing to travel with us through the mountain.

Delaying half a day to discuss everything in the party, finish still open businesses for everyone (mostly, Heart and me + Ventus) which all would likely take 1 Encounter Slot and then departure sounds good to me.
