"Oy, less strutting your stuff and more getting in gear for the battle! Ah fuck it, this is fight mostly for funsies, so I guess I can let you get away with some tomfoolery!"
If she thought her Feraligator's antics were bad, though, then your puns were real treat as she rolled her eyes and groaned at the Choice puns, but you could definitely see the corners of her lips tug upwards despite her reactions.
"Oh har har har. You two fancies yourselves comedians, eh? Well, I wouldn't be too filled with Swagger, 'cause if you keep Belching out puns like those, the only reaction you'll be getting will be Outrage and unFlattering remarks, savvy?
"Alright, enough fooling on both our parts, let's get started bashing our Pokémon's heads together before we get hypothermia from all this sodding rain! I only have one Pokémon capable of Mega Evolving on me right now, so those rules don't bother me none! (...) Coin flip on who shows their hand first, eh? That a new one for me......I like it! My choice is Heads, 'cause I'm already way ahead of you and totally out of your League, He He!"
With that playful barb said, you toss the coin into the air, where it spins a few times, before it falls to the earth and lands with a clatter!

"Ah damn it! *Sighs* Oh well, guess that will just be my one spot of bad luck for this match, right? Cooler, get out their and show that goofball over there your not just one yourself!"
Letting out another rumbling laugh and giving his trainer a casual thumbs up, the alligator struts over to an empty parking lot that was conveniently nearby with both arms crossed behind his head. The two of you made your way over along with him, Nelly standing opposed from you with that cocky smile of hers.
"You may have beaten me at the coin toss, but you'll need more than luck to have the same odds of beating me bub! Show me if you hot stuff, mate!"
