"I don't do double battles for a few reasons. One, they require a dedicated strategy, and I'm much too busy to invest in a whole new suite of strategies. Two, they require four Pokemon, and I like to have two complete teams of Gym-worthy Pokemon, and I'm much too busy to invest in two extra Pokemon who would serve only one specific purpose. This in addition to my fleet of Metagross and Magnemite. I should warn you that most Gym Leaders do not accept double battles - they each have specific tests they like to perform. For some few, double battles are a part of that test."
