Hopefully after seeing her laid low by Shiva will help alieviate such animosity, as well as gradual and attentive care to both his moods and needs. Draconic and fiercely tempered his species may be, he's still capable of becoming a more noble, beneficent member of his species so long as one invests all the necessary and more time + effort into shaping into such a being. With you as their master, I'm entirely certain you'll see him towards becoming such a ideal individual; you have a way with Pokémon that few others can claim to share, after all....."

Ventus amiably responds to the boy's statement, still smiling while doing his best to slowly ease their chaotic/rampant emotional distress he was already enduring, and let them choose the time they wish to begin their pre-ordained conversation. Last time he dictated the Encounter and tightly controlled things, and that ended up still causing things to go to pot. Time for at reversal of sorts.....

Nathan shrugs.

"Maybe he will.  Maybe not.  We'll see.  Not all Charizard are noble by nature, even among Creshire's distant nobility."

That comment on 'Nathan's way with pokemon'...it kinda rings a bell for Nathan...like that comparison had been made already...Kirlia looks a little worried for a moment...

...he shrugs it off, though, looking kinda sheepish at the compliment.  Kirlia lets out a quiet sigh of relief.

"...I don't know about that...I mean, I'm just doing what I think makes the most sense to do, really...we share the world with them, they assist us with what we need to do...it makes me wonder what it was like when Pokemon Trainers didn't exist...back when the Swords of Justice closed themselves off from humanity...and I also wonder what it'd be like to truly be one with pokemon, to achieve a deeper understanding of them..."

...that last statement has a couple veiled implications, actually.  Nathan is actually in the process of finding out himself right now, though it is through special circumstances and is a bit...wildly uncontrollable potentially.  And there is one person that Nathan knows has truly achieved that deeper understanding...and he shouldn't really have to say who.

"...well, I don't know why you wanted to talk in...my room, but...I guess that...works...so, I guess let's...head there now..."

There's a slight nervousness that's definitely a bit more apparent now, but nothing unmanageable since he's spent some time dedicated to calming down.  Nathan isn't sure if he really is ready for this...but he needs to know a few things...this gap in his memories is bothering him more than his reluctance to hear what happened...

Since I didn't describe it when Shiva entered it earlier, the room is tidy. Neat. No personal belongings sitting around. Nathan sets his bag in a corner, and that's about all the temporary decoration the room gets from him. Everything he carries around is in that bag (which is actually surprisingly heavy thanks to his super duper thick journal). No window in this room. Helps block out some of the city noise. Some of the writing utensils on the desk are not in the pencil holder, but they're lined up neatly, ready to be used.

Kirlia and Nathan sit on one of the beds in the room, perfectly in sync when they do so. Kirlia makes absolutely sure that Nathan is at least somewhat between him and Ventus though, just in case...

"...well, find a seat, I guess..."

There's the desk's chair, the other bed, the floor...
