Wow, Grid wiffed Thunder Wave so hard that Valder's frog ended up evolving because of it! Now that is what I call 'lucky!' Still, Thunder Wave feels a little bit......scumy to use, especially when you specified no items are to be used and therefore no curing Status Ailments will go away. That, and now with Sticky Web all of Vald's Pokémon but Ghastly will be getting the DEX debuff. Ouch....

That frog could outspeed my entire team (if I'm really unlucky) and sweep with Torrent boosted Bubbles, so I'd say that T-Wave was definitely fair game.  *shudder*

I'm trying to limit how Valder can hit me because when he DOES hit...ouch.  Nathan's a Glass Cannon, but Valder is a Glass Missile Launcher.

And yeah I'm with Iron on the Spore thing.  Sleep and Freeze are easily THE most OP statuses in Pokerole.  There's just no reasonable way to deal with them aside from items because your opponent can hit you 6-10 times before you even have a chance to wake up/break free.  I'm not going to have Ralts use Hypnosis in this battle for that very reason.  Well, unless Haunter uses it...

Oh, forgot about that 5 STR of Valder's. In that case, paralyze him QUICKLY, BEFORE HE BLASTS YOU TO SMITHERINS!

I completely agree with how ALL POWERFULL!!!! Spore is, but since I worked the better part of a couple of months or so on getting that dang move and Shroomish being underpowered for all that time, so I'm not going to limit my usage of that unless Michael is better of spamming SE moves/Facade, or their is a pre battle agreement not to use Sleep. Same deal with Encore too. Both are resources that make Ven's life easier and battles safer, so why not use them?

Of course, Iron could start making sure all his trainers have Safeguard/Grass Pokémon/Anti Sleep Tactics on his teams to counter the dreaded Spore, so their is that to balance things out. Or he could flat out just say it won't work for some reason if he doesn't want me to spam it. That too!
