Don't have the pure firepower of a the kickboxing shroom, though, so it balances out somewhat!
The Paras line has bad level up move pool and a crippling weakness to Fire, Flying, and just about everyone other common type in the game, so it learning Spore at such a low level is more of a saving grace for the poor guy, rather than pure OP. Sure, Breloom is quad weak to flying and suffers other bad weakness, but at least he has a slew of useful resistences and moves to defend himself with. Poor Parasect doesn't even have that.......
Yeah, but Spore is strong enough to beeline for, obviously. Of course, Amoongus needs 62 exp to learn it, so...yeah.
Sure, you've got a lot of weaknesses, but on the bright side, you also have REALLY easy access to Stun Spore and Poison Powder too. And you get Slash. And Giga Drain. And Fury Cutter. And Aromatherapy as a bonus. Gotta make up for that typing somehow, right?
Also, I noticed something interesting about Shroomish in Pokerole...they actually nerfed its ability to learn Spore. Shroomish learns it for 50 exp, right? And the movesets are mostly based on the XY learnsets, right? Well, in XY, Shroomish learns Spore at level 45 (and 40 in ORAS and later, 54 in RSE). So...yeah. Check out that nerf, yo, however slight it is.
