Think you forgot a bunch of Light Screen damage reduction from Starmie's attacks, @Iron.  By my count, Helios took...1 damage from Bubble Beam, and 1 from Future Sight, so he only took 3 damage total that round, leaving him at 4 HP.  Still -2 Pain, but a lot better than 2/8 HP!
