Their sudden nervousness and odd behavior yet again drew the empath attention squarely on them, and their comment about requiring his mercenary for almost all of today more than earned them an investigative look and a raised eyebrow.

".....If you require Valder's services for the day, I would like to know what it is your are hoping to accomplish with him first, since as you well know he has an obligation to uphold my interests first and foremost as my hired mercenary, Nathan."

"...uh...you, uh...kinda saw what I need him for already...just need another pair of eyes and another set of pokemon...just in case..."

Hearing the boy's response, Ventus mulled it over for a bit.....before nodding his head with an air of contentment/non judgmentalness.

"Very well. Just make sure to compensate him duly for the security he'll provide, and alert the rest of the group should trouble rear its head towards you two, alright?"

He then went silent, and waited for everyone else to get ready and leave for Cress.
