Nathan is a bit ahead of the group, leading the way. Suddenly a Furret leaps overhead and drops a shard of pale grey stone, the same size as the Clamperl Pearl but not uniform in shape. Instead, it looks like it was originally a piece of a larger marble slab, which was then casually smoothed. It's also longer than it is wide. When Nathan picks it up, all his arm hairs stand on end.

It looks like this is a piece of a grave marker. Some were indeed installed within Mt Sentry to ward against their spirits ever coming back, since Mt. Sentry is a place of sentinels.
