Shiva has 3 points in Crafts currently, since you asked. Though I may not level up in this Speciality that soon (eventually I probably might) as I'd like to collect an amount of Chara-XP for somethingelse before I'll solely concentrate on Specialities. But maybe there's someone in Cress City who could cut your garnet to show off the Sableye's biting marks, as this town is mentioned to host various old crafts. Even if that'd cost a fee, the net-gain of 3x3900$ would make up for that! Solely 3900$ is already nice.
