Empathy +1 for Gourmet : (2)(1)(2)(3)(5) vs Will: (2)(4)(1)(2)(4) Furret stays eating the food, but she's even more wary than normal and keeps her tail tightly wrapped around the Egg. It's a very messy process, eating.

"Don't worry, friend, I'm not going to take the egg from you.  I will admit I am very curious about where you found it...though I suppose it's probably not a place you'd be able to show me, is it?"

Nathan also slides 2 lots of honey over to the Furret.  Taking care to not get any closer, obviously.  Just being friendly.

"Here, some sweet treats to complement the food.  I know taking care of eggs is hard work.  Particularly in a dangerous place like these caves."

Nathan gives Ralts a head rub.

"...little guys really are worth all the extra effort.  So many things can go wrong if you aren't careful, though...egg could be stolen, broken through various means..."

"...this might not necessarily be the best place to raise whatever's in that egg of yours since it doesn't seem to be a pokemon that's common around here, but I'd be loathe to separate you from it...so would you like to come along with me?  I could use a good, motherly, watchful pokemon like yourself, and I could help you with hatching and protecting the egg as well.  Raising it too, even.  And I'm sure my mom might appreciate a pokemon like you being on the ranch as well, since there's often more than a few eggs that need taking care of."
