To clarify this, they have a petal in their hair in addition to the usual green leaf. They also have the beginnings of Shiftry hair, on their heads only, like a human.
The pink petal will follow them to the Pokeball like a held item.

That Shiftry hair I noticed. C:
Huh.... Then I'll add one of these pink petals to Inventory, having it transfered to bagpack from the one Nuzleaf that got sent to Bill's PC. Will add the second one currently in party when sending the other to PC as well. Feels like herb or something, will do some in-game investigations sooner or later.
