Might be an opportunity for some character development. Hopefully not a disaster.

As you're wrapping up the encounter with the Druddigon, Ventus' blue-and-black Egg begins to twitch in its Fast Incubator. He steps to the side for a little solitude. Shedding black hair and eggshell, out pops a puppy-sized blue and black Pokemon! The black comes from a mane of hair that covers chest, neck, and most of its head, including its eyes!

The little guy immediately starts nomming on Ventus' fingers with a toothless mouth. He notices that despite the hair, its skin is the same temperature as the cave, which is to say a little on the cool side.

It's a dragon.

Say hello to blind baby Deino! An exceedingly rare Pokemon in Creshire.

It has 3 Loyalty, 2 Happiness, and 3 Disobedience. Ability is Hustle. It only knows Tackle and Dragon Rage. If it evolves, it will learn Head Smash along with its other 0XP moves.

After suffering under Chandelure's Memento and the revelation of Shiva's near fatal (for her Pokemon) battle against Druddigon, Ventus expected and indeed welcomed the possibility of peaceful travels to Cress City, as it would give him plenty of time to 'fix' himself and plan his revengence as he cleared the path ahead. The very last thing he needed was more excitement today, so some well deserved rest was in order for him. That was not to be for the researcher, however, for soon after he made some headway he was suddenly jostled by a shaking/twitching motion to his side, causing him to sharply look in that direction thinking it was an threat, when in fact it was his Egg in the Incubator showing signs of hatching! He was briefly surprised by this, as he had almost completely forgotten that his Egg was expect to hatch today after everything that happen, and was swift to remove it from the nurturing piece of technology and lay it on the ground, crouched over it with a faint look expectant curiosity.....

 .....which shifted to 'Stunned'  when the Egg vigorously shattered and ushered forth a newborn Deino into the world! The little girl spent the first few seconds getting her balance on the ground, tottering back and forth on her little paws while also swiveling her head back/forth and sniffing the air to get a sense were she was, and where her mamma/papa was. She was a bit chilly now she was out of that stuffy Egg, and wanted to be cuddled to get warm right up!

Almost instantly she detected the subtle motion coming from Ven, and instinctively felt a strong love and tenderness coming from and to the source, and rightly assumed this to be their parent, so she waddled right over and *Chomp!* on the first thing she could get her mouth on! Which so happened to be his hand, which she happily nibbled on to get to know her.....papa? They tasted soft and like a boy, so they must be papa!

Ventus was so shocked by the fact the fact he was the father of a Deino that the blind drake happily nommed on his fingers for a full two minutes, until he snapped out of it with with a *Blink* and gently shaking his head in wonder and reveration at the sight of his child. Slowly, he reached over with his second hand and gently pried his other one out of the shadowy dragon mouth and lift them up to his face to greet them.....which result in his nose getting nibbled on next by the curious child, as she snapped her head forward to get a grip on it.

'.....Well, biting things in an exploratory manner trademark characteristic of the breed, and they are highly rambunctious too, so this is to be the expected reaction. Doesn't hurt that much at all, thankfully, but that will change in due time once she starts growing her first teeth in. Hopefully she'll learn to restrain her affections with me, or that'll be a painful period for myself as a teach her some........' Ven thought as he blinked a few more times, before he let out a low but fond chuckle as he moved his face away to get her to release his nose, a warm smile on his face and a tinkle in as he addressed his newest little angel.

"Hello there, my child. Eager to get to know me, hmm? Well, my name's Ventus Zackarieh, and I'm the one that hatched you, so you can think of me as your father. You need a name to, little one, as every child deserves one to show just how unique they are. Hmm......how about Azrael? You'll certainly be a terror when you grow up, and its a powerful title that will show all not to trifle with you, so I think its rather fitting. Do you like it?"

Another life, born under and into his care, and a highly Disobedient Dragon at that. A great responsibility.....but one that he gladly rise to the occasion. Even if though he still enervated from his ordeals and the embers of his HATE for itsmoldered within them, holding his newborn Deino breath life back into him, and made him forgot about all the bad for that moment.....

Order: Have Ventus get to know his newborn child a little bit! If anyone wants to react to this scene, they are more than welcome to and share in the joy!
