Nathan lets out a sigh.  He still doesn't comment initially.  Just quietly watches Furret with that slightly painful, polite smile.  From a respectful distance.

Ralts got the message loud and clear, but he needs some rest after such a stressful day.  Badly.  He's yawning from sheer exhaustion.

Furret however...she's a little furball of pure energy and excitement!  From what she can tell, the orange haired stranger is doing a half-decent job with the newborn!  She'd have to remember this for later...it definitely helps calm Ralts and Nathan down a little, being around such a positive emotion.

When they reach the nearest pokemon center (the eastern one, right?), Nathan thanks Valder for being his escort for the day.  "Really, you...saved me a lot of trouble and worry, despite how...anyways...again...thank you.  If...you need my help with something later, don't hesitate to ask me...alright?  *ahem*  Well, uh...goodnight, I guess...come on, Furret, let's head inside."

Once in his room, Nathan hands the blue egg with yellow stripes and red crown back to Furret.

"Well, no safer place than a pokemon center.  If I may ask, though...is this your first time hatching an egg, Furret?"

Furret nods and looks a little worried. She'll spend the night wrapped around the Egg, in the corner far away from Nathan's bed.
