Furret nods and looks a little worried. She'll spend the night wrapped around the Egg, in the corner far away from Nathan's bed.

Nathan has a small smile on his face.  "...figured as much when you took interest in Ventus's.  Give me a sec.  I'll be right back."

Nathan heads to the PC to swap out Solomon for Forthright, then comes back.

Forthright is downright ecstatic to finally be out of the PC!  Yay, finally, some quality time with her parent!

Nathan can't help but smile as he comes back to his room.

"Furret, this is Forthright.  I hatched her from a blue egg around...a week or so ago.  Took a little over a week to hatch her.  She's quite the little bundle of joy, though, and I think it was worth it.  It's definitely quite different from caring for a young Ponyta..."

...though the smile is soon replaced by a small frown.

"...it wasn't easy to hatch her, though.  And...I hardly did it alone.  Having a fire type around helps speed up the hatching, and...it can be difficult to protect eggs and make sure they stay safe in the wild without help.  If I hadn't had my various pokemon friends...I don't want to think about what could have happened to her...I also had to consider how best to raise her...still am, actually..."

...back to a small smile.

"...you could use some practice, right?  Well, how about you help me with Forthright, and I can help you with hatching and caring for your egg?  I could definitely use a little assistance with keeping Forthright happy and entertained..."
