Once he spent some more time snuggling with his black angel and feed/not feed her (and the others had a chance to react to Azrael's birth), Ventus resumed his journey towards Cress City and made his way to the East Pokémon Center, holding Azrael all the while and with his archangel glided by his side, both it and him keeping their eyes peeled for danger all the while. Now with his newest little one in his care, he had to be even more vigilant and responsible, and not let his guard down!

Actually Shiva is lagging a little behind since Nathan and Ven already went ahead, and is trotting alongside Heart and Azumarill + Furret while taking silent deep breaths. She was exhausted from the sheer intensity of the battle and her downspiral into icy-cold wrath, but physically she was fine and the eagger and worry for Braixen's and Cottonee's state made her take the rest of the path at normal speed.

She's due to her background of having grown up in a Professional Breeder's family sensitive to the sound of a Pokemon Egg hatching, so she certainly does pick up the sound faintly from ahead her, causing her as well as Azumarill perk up in wonder and slight excitement. Can's be that suspected Egg Nathan carried... Ah, must be that Mystery Egg Ven has picked up from the Shelter!! Huh, it certainly took quite a while to hatch, a bit longer than usually, she only knew that being the case on Eggs containing an Eevee, selected species, and almost all members of Drag.... A sly and slight smaile frormed on her expression as she fastened her pace a little to catch up with the others.


Eventually, she was back within eyesight of Ventus and Raphael, where she slowed her step again to not needlessly put that new hatchling on edge, before she silently curious stepped to Ven's side to get a look at WHAT has actually hatched there... It was indeed an exemplar of a Deino she carefully suspected to hatch... Haha..... Oh well, how very fitting that it was the dark oddball of sociologist she grew so fond of has hatched such a small draconic creature. Shiva didn't say anything to Ven though, instead she fondly-playfully patted him on the back in the means to say 'Well done!~", now gifting him a dear smile. She's not at all afraid of THAT smol dragon, but she's very respectful towards its Final Form due to its violent and ruthless nature. Besides, how this one nommed on the given sammich was outright adorable to watch, Shiva just couldn't help but to give Azrael, as Ven introduced this dragon to her, a kind stroke on the side of its head with the back of her hand in the manner of greeting.

(Given how the evoline has a 4xWeakness against Fairy Type though, whether new Deino accepts that and doesn't flinch or prefers to keep its distance like Lucifer does depends on GM then.)

Deino hasn't yet learned to be wary of Fairy types, intellectually. She might be a little more nervous about an actual Fairy, though, such as Azumarill if she's still out, which I think she is. She'll keep Ventus between her and Azu.
