His door opens, revealing a Machop. Mallorn is sitting on his bed, fiddling with a Pokedex. 

"Hey, boss! Gonna challenge Tanuki while you're here? Pull up a chair." He points to a chair by a desk.

Nathan takes a seat.  Ralts ends up sitting in his lap.

"Yeah, at some point.  Enjoying a little downtime while we have some.  Come on Furret, don't be shy.  Come on in.  So, what brings you to Cress, Mallorn?"

"I'm delivering a package - already done! and then going to talk to Dagny tomorrow. Whenever I'm in a city, I try to drum up something interesting, and there's always something interesting going on in Cress. I just haven't found it yet this visit. But mainly, I'm here because I was paid to come here."
